Newton AI Usage Billing

Newton AI chat agent usage is currently charged by default on a pre-paid basis using usage token credits. Each request consists of a prompt(user's question/message), contextual text needed to answer the user's question(including the chat history[when enabled]), and a response, which is the output generated by Newton AI in response to the prompt and contextual information. The usage of the Newton AI agent is calculated by counting the total number of tokens in each part, the prompt, the context and the response. A token is the smallest unit of data in generative AI & LLM workloads and represents a fragment of a word, with approximately 100 tokens contained in every 75 words. The default cost of token usage is currently billed at a rate of $0.02 per 1,000 tokens.

Newton AI agent training token usage is billed at the time of training by the total amount of text tokens contained in all of the provided AI agent training materials. Training tokens are billed by a rate of $0.0006 per 1,000 training tokens on the current default billing plan.

Custom billing schedules/rates and subscriptions are typically available on request. Requesting a custom billing plan or subscription allows us to better serve your individual needs and AI automation goals.

Examples:
  • A Newton AI chat agent request consisting of a total of 1500 Newton AI agent usage tokens on the current default billing plan would be billed at a rate of $0.02 per 1K tokens, for a total of 0.03 usage credits billed.
  • Training a Newton AI agent model with training data consisting of a total of 1,000,000 tokens would cost $0.60 usage credits at the time of AI agent training on the current default billing plan.
